Daryl’s skills from growing up in the backwoods of Georgia turned out to be incredibly useful when the outbreak of walkers brought society to a halt. While his personality clashed with many of the other survivors early on, eventually he became regarded as one of the leaders of the group, known for being dependable and loyal, even if he’s gruff.
