Synopsis.

Born as one of a pair of identical twins, Maki lacked the ability to see cursed spirits, a huge shame to the Zen’in clan, which looks down on non-sorcerers. Maki resolved to become a sorcerer anyway and return to the clan to destroy it, so she attended Tokyo Jujutsu High, using special glasses that let her see cursed spirits and cursed tools to be able to fight them. During the Shibuya incident, she was badly burned, but survived and began planning to unseal Satoru Gojo alongside Megumi Fushiguro, Yuta Okkotsu, and Yuji Itadori.

With Megumi the new head of the Zen’in clan, Maki was sent to collect the Zen’in’s cursed tool arsenal, but they tried to kill her and her sister. When Mai died, however, Maki’s limitations were removed and she had a true Heavenly Restriction, granting her superhuman strength and speed, and she killed all the Zen’in clan.
