Synopsis.

One of the handful of non-powered heroes in Astro City, Jess became a highly respected member of the Honor Guard. She developed a relationship with another hero called Crackerjack, the two bonding over their lack of superpowers despite Crackerjack being generally disliked by the other heroes for his shit personality.

As the two grew older, though, they struggled with aging limiting what they could do as superheroes and began to slowly look for what to do with their lives next.
