Synopsis.

In the past, Mai worked as a dealer for a shady casino, putting her in semi-frequent contact with mobsters. Though she was never fully caught up in crime, it was in her orbit. Eventually, she got an opportunity and became a pro-gamer, making a career out of TCG tournaments and online streaming. Unfortunately, after a tournament that went terribly wrong (Battle City), Mai's past caught up to her again. An organization called Doma convinced her to work with them, using her skills with cards to earn money for them. Mai isn't sure what Doma's end goal is, but she finally feels like she's getting more respect the closer she gets to power.
